Title: Users' mailbox and calendar data may not sync as expected in the Outlook mobile client for iOS devicesUser impact: Users' mailbox and calendar data may not sync as expected in the Outlook mobile client for iOS devices.Current status: Our continued investigation has so far revealed a regression present in a specific portion of code within Outlook for iOS version 4.2311.0, which we suspect is contributing to impact. We've subsequently disabled this code segment, and we're monitoring our service telemetry to verify that this mitigative action successfully prevents new instances of impact. In the meantime, however, we continue to recommend that users avoid upgrading to 4.2311.0. Additionally, we've determined that users who updated before the regressed portion of code was disabled may still be impacted. We're exploring options to restore expected sync functionality for all residually affected users and tentatively expect to have more information regarding a proposed fix by our next scheduled update. Scope of impact: Any user using Outlook for iOS version 4.2311.0 may experience impact. Start time: Wednesday, March 29, 2023, at 11:27 AM UTC Root cause: A code regression within a recent update, version 4.2311.0, is preventing users leveraging this version from syncing email and calendar data in the Outlook mobile client as expected on iOS devices.
